Assessment of Ligno-Cellulosic Bioethanol Concepts in Austria - Technical, Economic and Environmental Aspects

Based on the potentials of wood and straw in Austria the most interesting bioethanol concepts, which guarantee the efficient use of wood and straw, were identified and then modeled with IPSEpro: Bioethanol from cellulose and hemi­cellulose as a substitute for gasoline and co­products (e.g. electricity, pellets) from lignin and process residues are produced.
