Improving the Efficiency of Hydrothermal Gasification of Carbonaceous Materials

Alkaline hydrothermal reactions of different carbonaceous materials have been studied in a batch reactor. Based on experimental evidence, a chemical reaction model was developed for the hydrothermal reaction between alkali and samples for hydrogen gas production. In general, hydrogen gas production increased in the presence of sodium hydroxide for all samples.
