The aim of this research is to study dilute sulfuric acid catalyzed hydrolysis of barley straw cellulose and hemicelluloses, employing a batch reactor. Process parameters investigated include variation in reaction ending temperature (160 ­ 220°C) and reaction time (0 50 min).
