Use of Clean Green Fuel Energy from Biomass in Rural Households of Haryana (India)

Consumption of fuel energy at household level in India is very inefficient. Therefore, biomass pellets and pellet¬stoves were introduced in 110 rural households of Haryana (North¬west agrarian state) through training. Respondents had nuclear families (58.18%), were young (54.54%), illiterate (51.81%), had farming occupation (55.45%) and low family education status (38.18%).
