Fermentation by Debaryomyces Hansenii NRRL Y-7426 from Detoxificated Olive-Tree Pruning Hemicellulosic Hydrolyzate

The purpose of this research was to study the fermentability of a new method of detoxification applied to olive-tree pruning hemicellulosic hydrolyzates with Debaryomyces hansenii NRRL Y-7426. The olive-tree pruning hemicellulosic hydrolyzates obtained from acid hydrolysis were not fermented by D. hansenii, neither growth nor consumes was observed.
