In the recent years, the upgrade of low energy density solid biomass to liquid bio­oil from 0.3 tn/m3 to 1.2 tn/m3 [1] and from 5.4 GJ/m3 to 20.4 GJ/m3 [2], [3] through the fast pyrolysis process has become extensively researched.
