Production of Bioethanol from Sweet Sorghum Juice by Ethanol-Methane Two-Stage Fermentation

Continuous ethanol fermentation of sorghum juice and methane fermentation of stillage after distillation were studied in lab scale. The necessity of the addition of mineral salts was firstly confirmed. Continuous ethanol fermentation of sorghum juice was carried out using flocculating Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain KF-7.
