The purpose of this study was to enhance the efficiency of pig manure using prickly pear in mixture with different percentages (5%, 7.5% and 10%). Co-digestion with prickly pear allows to increase the yield of L CH4/kg Volatile Solids (VS) up to 9.3%, 17% and 27%, respectively.
