This article deals with the techno-economic analysis of wet and dry torrefaction processes for producing high quality feedstocks. This article also compares the impact of wet and dry torrefaction processes on biomass to liquid fuel (BTL) production under Norwegian conditions. The study goal is to produce transportation fuel via Fischer-Tropsch synthesis with combined heat and power (CHP) as a co-product.
