P1.0.16 Sensing mechanism of hydrogen sensors based on Pd loaded tungsten oxide (Pd-WO3)

This paper presents a study on hydrogen sensing mechanism of Pd-loaded tungsten oxide nanocomposites (Pd-WO3). The Pd- WO3 nanocomposites were prepared and characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD and XPS analyses. The responses to 25-200 ppm hydrogen were measured at 50% relative humidity. The changes in the optical properties and crystal phases of Pd- WO3 in contact with hydrogen were investigated by UV-Vis-IR spectroscopy and XRD.
