P2.8.10 Amperometric NO2 Sensor Based on Solid Polymer Electrolyte for Screen Printing Technology

Amperometric NO2 sensor with solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) and with a new type of carbon working electrode was developed. The electrolyte is based on 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [EMIM:TFSI] immobilized in poly(vinilidene fluoride) matrix. The analyte, gaseous nitrogen dioxide, was detected by reduction at -500 mV vs. platinum reference electrode.
