In this paper we present the design, simulation and measurement results of microfluidic optical sensors fabricated by single-layer micro-stereolithographic prototyping in a transparent photoresin. To improve the optical performance of liquid-based analysis systems in terms of excitation light guiding and focusing two novel optofluidic elements have been developed and integrated.
