Usually threads are tested by hand after manufacturing and often on a random basis. However, equipment is needed for built-in, automated testing guaranteeing a 100% control is possible. For these reason, an automated thread control device has been developed as an intelligent tool holder with built-in sensors by ARTIS GmbH.
