A pillar from Bamai (or Bamnai, district Raisen) displayed in the Birla Museum, Bhopal. 14-line inscription records the foundation of a Śiva temple (Talakeśvara) by Raja Talakasiṃha, son of Raja Salakhe at the village of Brāhma. Dated saṃvat 1308 āśvina badi 12 gurau (=Wednesday 13 September 1251 CE), in the reign of Paramāra king Jayasiṃhadeva II.
