Our paper presents an integrated approach to the recording of the so-called Hexenturm (witch tower) of Ulmerfeld Castle (Lower Austria) using mast aerial photography (MAP) as well as image-based modeling (IBM) and the combined application of proprietary as well as free software for generating an accurate virtual model of the building.
