Pseudomonas aeruginosa has been reported as the causative organism of a wide spectrum of infections ranging from wound infections to fatal Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP), mainly in nosocomial and ICU setup. Patients usually have a known history of immunocompromised state, including burn patients and patients with Diabetes Mellitus.
