Cotswold Archaeology
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in November and December 2008 at the request of MHJ Ltd on land adjacent to King’s Bridge, Yarnton, Oxfordshire. Nine trenches were excavated. The evaluation established that the site was covered with alluvial clays that sealed a natural sandy clay substrate.
