The Newham Museum Archaeology Project Archives are the result of rescuing the files from the computers of the Newham Museum Archaeology Service when it was closed down in 1988. The archive represents over ten years of fieldwork. It includes material covering over 180 archaeological sites investigated by the Newham Museum Archaeology Service and also by previously closed units including the Passmore Edwards and Manor Valley museums. Many of these sites have not been published.
