Isle of Grain power Station WB Report

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks associated with drilling and the removal of contaminated soil at Isle of Grain Power Station, Isle of Grain, Kent. Groundworks included ground reduction of an area approximately 5 x 43 metres to a maximum depth of 1.7 metres below ground level. Site visits were made to monitor groundworks on during August 2007. No archaeological evidence was encountered during the course of the groundworks.
