ASDA Petrol Filling Station, Bruton Way, Gloucester. Archaeological Watching Brief (OASIS ID: cotswold2-299396)

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with the construction of a new petrol station at the ASDA supermarket, Bruton Way, Gloucester. A stone built wall, possibly associated with a former Midlands Railway locomotive shed, and a brick built soakaway and associated drain, probably associated with the former Eastgate Railway Station sidings, were identified.
