Pr, Ca co-doped LaMnO3(LPCMO) exhibits a variety of complex physical properties owing to the co-existence and competition of different structural, magnetic and electronic degrees of freedom. The complex interplay of lattice, orbital, spin and charge interactions in LPCMO gives rise to a very rich phase diagram with properties such as a metal to insulator transition (MIT), colossal magneto-resistance and phase separation.
