Polar magnets, an interesting family of compounds both fundamentally and technologically as they exhibit rich variety properties such as magnetism, ferroelectricity, pyroelectricity, magnetodielectric/electric effect, and multiferroicity. Recently, we reported new polar magnets DyMWO6 (M = Cr, Fe) crystallize in orthorhombic structure with space group Pna21 exhibit interesting magnetic and magnetoelectric properties.
