One of five brothers, the sons of Arthur and Mary Perry from Tean in Staffordshire. They were my great-uncles. All served in the Great War. Edmund (Ted) was the only one who survived. Lance Corporal Joseph Perry 12300, served in the 2nd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, died 13/11/1916 aged 20yrs and is commerated on the Thiepval Memorial, Pier and Face 15C.
