Note about stores taken over by F Batt.

Collinge Wharton Rye
Editor's Comment: List of stores taken over, including grenades, ammunition, and dixies. As practice grenades are mentioned, seems unlikely to be 'Trench Stores': more likely a reserve held behind the lines. From the effects of Lieutenant Wharton Rye Collinge, 2nd/6th (Rifle) Bn. The King's (Liverpool Regiment), who died of gas poisoning 7th August 1917 and is buried in Merville Communal Cemetery.
