Ferns collected on Passchendale Ridge by my granduncle, Albert Rawson. He was one of 8 children, my grandfather, Frank, being his brother. He was born in 1874 at Hebdon Bridge, Todmorden, Yorkshire. The family eventually moved to Blackpool, Lancashire. Albert Rawson was stationed at supply depot in France as a Private during 1914-18 war. Home address given as Sheaf Street, Poulton-le-Fylde.
