As a part of the overall test programme of FP5 HTR-M Project, JRC-IET was engaged with uniaxial creep tests parent material, X-welds and weld material of P91. In addition to the test programme metallographic investigations on damage development were perfomed. Specimens for mechanical testing were selected from a welded joint.
