Roperia tesselata (Bacillariophyta, Coscinodiscophyceae, Coscinodiscales, Hemidiscaceae), diameter 75 µm, Sylt 11.2014. 0:20 min. More or less circular cell, coarse areolation, many brownish chloroplasts. Central a specific so-called pseudonodulus, looks like a small hole 3-6 µm in diameter. Video can be used for teaching.
