Tobacco calmodulin-like protein rgs-CaM in silico model with calcium ion loaded in its inactive calcium binding-loop (rgs-CaM+Ca-C)

Tobbaco calmodulin-like protein rgs-CaM displays two EF-hands motifs that contains two putative calcium binding loops each. However, ITC studies showed that rgs-CaM displays only three calcium binding sites. Amino acids sequence comparison with classical calmodulins shows that loop C does not conserved any residue involved in calcium coordination.
