Interdisciplinary research approaches have to run integrative data analyses to realize their full potential. In biodiversity research, the range of relevant disciplines is large, comprising for instance point related genetical analysis, meteorologists covering three-dimensional energy fluxes, and ecologist working on a landscape level.
