DSPI, a putative enoyl-coenzyme A (CoA) hydratase/isomerase, is anticipated to be involved in the synthesis of cis-2-decenoic acid (CDA), a quorum sensing (QS) signal molecule present in the superbug Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
