Mass concentrations calculated from Aerodyne's aerosol mass spectrometers depend on particle collection efficiency (CE) and relative ionization efficiency (RIE, relative to the primary calibrant ammonium nitrate). We present new laboratory RIE measurements for a wide range of organic aerosol species (RIEOA).
