Fiber imaging bundles are widely used as thin, passive image conduits for miniaturised and endoscopic microscopy, particularly for confocal fluorescence imaging. Holographic microscopy through fiber bundles is more challenging; phase conjugation approaches are complex and require extensive calibration.
