Three populations of false killer whales (Pseudorca crassidens) have been identified in the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone of the Hawaiian Archipelago (Hawaiian EEZ): 1) a main Hawaiian Islands (MHI) insular population, 2) a pelagic population, and 3) a Northwestern Hawaiian Islands (NWHI) population. Spatially-explicit stock boundaries are needed to assess and manage each population.
