Nach einer einleitenden Plausibilisierung dieser Perspektive führt der vorliegende Beitrag in den aktuellen interdisziplinären Diskurs um die Aufgaben und Arbeitsweisen der Allgemeinen Fachdidaktik ein. Anschließend werden grundlegende Erträge aus der bislang umfangreichsten Vergleichsstudie zur Grundlegung einer Allgemeinen Fachdidaktik präsentiert und religionsdidaktisch reflektiert.
