Using the luminance adjustment procedure, we evaluated four discomfort sensation on a Hopkinson-like glare scale: (a), (b), (c) and (d), respectively. Two methodological factors that were beleived to influence the luminance adjustment procedure were investigated. One was the stimulus range bias effect.
