Comparison of Codes Assessing Radiation Exposure at Aviation Altitudes in Case of Solar Particle Events
P. Beck, J.-F. Bottolier-Depois, R. Bütikofer, E. Flückiger, N. Fuller, K.-L. Klein, M. Latocha, V. Mares, D. Matthiä & W. Rühm
Abstract: The European Radiation Dosimetry Group, EURADOS focuses, among other issues, on the harmonization of dose assessment within Europe and conformance with international practices. Along these lines, this EURADOS report compares route doses and dose rates at flight altitudes due to solar cosmic radiation (SCR) associated with ground level enhancements (GLEs) as calculated by means of nine available computer codes. Some of these codes are routinely used for the assessment of radiation exposure of aircraft...

Decametric radio observation from Nançay Decameter Array (NDA). The NDA at the Station de Radioastronomie de Nancay (SRN) is a phased array of 144 "Teepee" helicoidal antenna, half of which being Right Handed (RH) polarized and the other half being Left Handed (LH) polarized. Four receivers are currently connected to the NDA, sampling data in spectral ranges within 5 to 80 MHz. This collection contains the Solar observation data products, in raw and CDF formats.

Stéphane Aicardi, Baptiste Cecconi & Laurent Lamy
Jupiter is a source of intense radio emissions in the decametric wavelength range observable from ground (above ∼10 MHz) and from space (down to a few kHz). The strong anisotropy of the Jovian radio sources results in characteristic shapes in the temporal-spectral domain, which can be used to identified the various types of Jovian radio components. The Jupiter Probability Tool provides users with Jovian radio emission observability predictions, depending on the observers location, and the...
