W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań lichenometrycznych, przeprowadzonych na wcześniej wydatowanych wałach morenowych lodowca Fláa na Islandii. Ich wynikiem są ważne spostrzeżenia, nawiązujące do możliwości wykorzystywania krzywej lichenometrycznej T. Bradwella (2004). Daty otrzymane przez autora mają stosunkowo wysoki stopień zgodności z datami z wcześniejszego datowania, opartego na danych glacjologicznych, kartograficznych i historycznych (Dąbski 2002).
