ObjectiveThere are different upper limb manual training protocols, namely constraint-induced movement therapy, modified constraint-induced movement therapy, hand–arm bimanual intensive training, hand–arm bimanual intensive training including lower extremity, action observation training, and mirror therapy, available for improving functional outcomes in children with cerebral palsy. However, the effect and priority of these strategies remain unclear.Data sourcesWe searched the PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase databases for relevant articles from inception to October 12, 2022.Review methodsTo assess the effect...

Rebecca Tomaschek, Armin Gemperli & Stefan Essig
Strategies to combine primary and specialized care are crucial to meet the needs of individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) located in rural areas. We explored the collaboration between general practitioners (GPs) and SCI specialists who will participate in an intervention study to improve their collaboration. A questionnaire survey from August to October 2020. Primary Care, Specialized SCI care. Eight GPs and 13 SCI specialists. Baseline results from the SCI-Co study. N/A. Overall, satisfaction ratings...

Data were collected through a cross-sectional representative population survey (N = 313) conducted in early 2021 in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. The goal of the survey is to understand the knowledge and awareness of palliative care in the Italian-speaking Swiss general population, describing the main misconceptions or false beliefs and their relationship with attitudes towards palliative care.
