Seedling demography for African mahogany in Benin

Jennifer L. Bufford & Orou G. Gaoue
These data show the basal diameter (cm), heights (m) measured on individual seedlings and saplings of Khaya senegalensis (Meliaceae) yearly from 2004 to 2007. From 2005-2007, we report if individual survived or not and the previously measured basal diameter and height (if applicable). Individuals have unique (aluminum) tag number within population. A total of 12 populations were monitored for 4 years and these populations were selected randomly in two ecological regions (wet or dry) and...

Seedling microhabitat for African mahogany in Benin

(:Unav)
We collected four years (2004-2007) seedling and sapling microhabitat and abundance data within ten 10 x 10m plot within each of 12 population of Khaya senegalensis in Benin, West Africa. Within each plot, we collected data yearly on grass cover (%), percent plot burned, and percent cover of non-graminaceous understory species (2005-2007), and tree canopy cover (2006-2007). We also counted seedling (<2 cm) and sapling number in each plot from 2004-2006. These microhabitats data are...

paleoTS data - RData format

Gene Hunt, Melanie J. Hopkins & Scott Lidgard
Same data as 'paleoTS files.zip', but all combined into a single file readable by R. Double-clinking this file will open R and make available in the R Workspace an object called 'tsList' which is a list of the 771 time-series (paleoTS) objects.

paleoTS files - zip archive

Gene Hunt, Melanie J. Hopkins & Scott Lidgard
This zip archive holds 771 plain text files in paleoTS format. Each stores the raw data for a trait time-series, with columns for trait sample sizes, trait means, trait variances, and sample ages.

benefits of allonursing in meerkats

Kirsty J. MacLeod, Katie E. McGhee & Tim H. Clutton-Brock
Data extracted from a long-term dataset collected in the field over ~20 years. Dataset created using Microsoft Excel. Data described in column headings; pertains to the potential benefits the presence of allonurses might have on maternal condition, lactation duration, interbirth interval, offspring survival, and weight at emergence from the natal burrow.

Does Hugging Provide Stress-Buffering Social Support_replication syntax

Sheldon Cohen, Denise Janicki Deverts, Ronald B. Turner & William J. Doyle
The replication data set is provided as an annotated SPSS data file (.SAV), and contains all variables necessary to conduct the analyses reported on in the associated publication. Data are represented by 57 variables, which are described in detail in the code book that appears in the attached README.pdf document. The code book provides a descriptive label for each variable, as well as value labels for categorical and dichotomous variables (when necessary). Missing data are...
