This data set includes the quality controlled high vertical resolution radiosonde data from all sources (National Weather Service and mobile soundings from the University of Louisiana Monroe and University of Alabama Huntsville), for the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Thunderstorms Experiment-Southeast 2018 (VORTEX-SE_2018) project period (9 March to 16 April 2018). This dataset contains quality controlled 5 minute averages of surface flux data collected by the NCAR/EOL Integrated Surface Flux System (ISFS) during the Stable Air Variability and Transport (SAVANT) field campaign. These data have been quality controlled and are available in NetCDF format. The winds reported by the sonic anemometers have been rotated into geographic coordinates and tilt corrected relative to a surface plane using a Leica Multistation (laser theodolite).
