Prehistoric Irrigation Canals

This image is a 1922 map of prehistoric irrigation systems throughout the Salt River Valley. The map indicated where the Salt River meets the Gila River. The map labels and indicates the location of both the prehistoric irrigation canals and prehistoric settlements. Further, the map shows locations of petroglyph sites.
