Recordings of Danish Monologues for Hearing Research

Kasper Duemose Lund & Axel Ahrens
This dataset contains 10 stories spoken by 10 native Danish speakers. The stories are numbered from S01 to S10 and the talkers from T01 to T10.
Recording procedureThe stories were recorded in an acoustically treated sound-proof booth at the Technical University of Denmark. The talkers were recorded with a Neumann TLM 102 microphone (Neumann GmbH, Berlin, Germany). The text was presented on a virtual teleprompter on an HTC Vive Pro VR system (HTC Corporation, New Taipei...

fields_in_Fig6.avi

Luke Horstman, Ning Hsu, James Hendrie, David Smith & Jean-Claude Diels
Referring to Figure 6, the video shows the temporal evolution of the two fields in polar coordinates. The two fields evolve at the same frequency with difference phases, and there is no beat note, even though there are two split eigenvalues.

Movie1 - treatment effect on migratory behaviour

Aneta Gandalovičová
Composite video demonstrating mesenchymal and induced amoeboid invasion in 3D collagen and the effect of MMP inhibitor GM6001. Invasion tracks of 6 cells per condition, visible at the end of the movie, depict that invasion of amoeboid cells is not stalled by addition of GM6001, unlike invasion of control cells.

PLACENTAL NEGR1 DNA METHYLATION IS ASSOCIATED WITH BMI AND NEURODEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL AGE CHILDREN

E Breton, V Gagné-Ouellet, K Thibeault, R Guérin, RJ Van Lieshout, P Perron, MF Hivert & L Bouchard
Studies have linked maternal pre-pregnancy obesity and hyperglycemia with metabolic and neurodevelopmental complications in childhood. DNA methylation (DNAm) might enable fetal adaptations to environmental adversities through important gene loci. NEGR1 is a gene involved in both energy balance and behavior regulation. The aim of this study was to investigate associations between placental DNAm at the NEGR1 gene locus and childhood anthropometric and neurodevelopmental profiles in preschoolers. We analyzed 276 mother-child dyads from Gen3G, a prospective...

Cormatrix Patch Augmentation of the Tricuspid Valve Anterior Leaflet

Giuseppe Rescigno, Antonella Meraglia, Mauin Uddin & John Stephen Billing
Tricuspid regurgitation is most commonly treated by restrictive annuloplasty. However, this would not suffice for extreme annular dilatation and/or leaflet tethering. For these conditions, a patch augmentation of anterior or septal leaflets is sometimes necessary. In this video, the authors show their step-by-step approach to perform an anterior leaflet augmentation that allowed for the effective correction of a severe tricuspid regurgitation with annular dilation and complex tethering of the valve leaflets.
A 45-year-old woman was referred...
