Acoustic propagation in inhomogeneous fluids: regularization via the introduction of fine particles

It is shown, using analytical methodologies, that the velocity field blow-up suffered by vertically ascending acoustic waves in an isothermal atmosphere can be eliminated via the introduction of fine particles.
