Christabel Dube, Matthew Ronshaugen & Kimberly A. Mace
Single-cell RNA sequencing was peformed in young and mouse skin and Day 3 wounds to characterise the effects of ageing on healing progression. Questionnaire Responses August 2022 Pilot Study

Ron Bar-Ad
Participant ratings of each of three environments for six observed qualities. Environments are no-trees, some-trees, and more-trees, each a variation of the same area with varying levels of greenery. 10 participants were shown the environments in virtual reality and asked to rate each of the three on a scale of 1 to 7 for safety, beauty, density, greenness, building height, and road width. Another questionnaire asked the participants for their experience of urban, suburban and...

James A. Smith, Louise Callard, Maria Luisa Sánchez Montes, Erin L McClymont, Jeremy Lloyd, Werner Ehrmann, David Roberts, Michael J. Bentley, Stewart S. R. Jamieson, Timothy P. Lane & Christopher M. Darvill
The dataset comprises of analyses of two sediment cores (LC12 and LC7), extracted from Blaso, a large epishelf lake on the margin of 79 degrees N Ice Shelf, NW Greenland in July-August 2017. The data are used to constrain ice shelf dynamics over the last 8500 calibrated years before present (cal. years B.P., where present is A.D. 1950). Data for the LC7 and LC12 sediment records consist of radiocarbon (14C) chronology data. Overlapping 2 m-long...

Interactive information dashboards user performance and low-level interaction data

Mohammed Alhamadi, Sarah Clinch & Markel Vigo
A study on four interaction and information presentation dashboard problems: 1. information overload, 2. inappropriate data order and grouping 3. ineffective data presentation 4. misalignment in visual literacy expectations
Each dashboard had two types: problematic and adapted. Then each type had two tasks.
File 1 (dependent and independent variables): 63 participants completed the experiment, so for each user, we have user graph literacy (0-4), effectiveness(0 or 1 for each task), efficiency (completion time...

\"Why call it equality?\" revisited: An extended critique of the EIGE Gender Equality Index – Supplementary material

Caitlin Schmid & Mark Elliot
The attached excel spreadsheets are supplementary material to the - yet unpublished - article "Why call it equality?" revisited: An extended critique of the EIGE Gender Equality Index.
The files document the reconstruction of the 2017 and 2020 Gender Equality Indices by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), forming the basis of the article's analyses.
Calculations follow the EIGE's methodology and uses publicly available data that can be downloaded from the EIGE...

Prehospital Comparison of the HEAR and HE-MACS Scores for 30-Day Adverse Cardiac Events

Lucas M. Popp, Nicklaus P. Ashburn, Brennan E. Paradee, Anna C. Snavely, James C. O’Neill, Kate M. Boyer, Richard Body, Simon A. Mahler & Jason P. Stopyra
The History, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Age, and Risk factor (HEAR) and History and ECG-only Manchester Acute Coronary Syndromes (HE-MACS) risk scores can risk stratify chest pain patients without troponin measures. The objective of this study was to determine if either risk score could achieve the ≥99% negative predictive value (NPV) required to rule out major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE; a composite of all-cause death, myocardial infarction, or coronary revascularization) at 30 days or the ≥50% positive...

Geochemical data (clay mineral, XRF-scanner and biomarker data) for core LC12 sediment record from Blaso, a large, epishelf lake in NW Greenland collected July-August 2017

James A. Smith, Louise Callard, Maria Luisa Sánchez Montes, Erin L. McClymont, Jeremy M. Lloyd, Werner Ehrmann, David Roberts, Michael J. Bentley, Stewart S. R. Jamieson, Timothy P. Lane & Christopher M. Darvill
The dataset comprises multi-proxy analyses of sediment core, LC12, extracted from Blaso, a large epishelf lake on the margin of 79 degree N Ice Shelf, NW Greenland in July-August 2017. The data are used to constrain ice shelf dynamics over the last 8500 calibrated years before present (cal. years B.P., where present is A.D. 1950). A 2 m-long sediment core was recovered with a UWITEC KOL 'Kolbenlot' percussion piston corer to a total sediment depth...

Quantitative phase analysis of powder X-ray diffraction patterns of Ti3C2Tz MXene synthesis products

James Bird
Rietveld refinement was performed on powder diffraction patterns of a triphasic system, where one phase constitutes an internal standard, to be able to quantify the proportion of product (Ti3C2 MXene) and reactant (Ti3AlC2 MAX phase) present after a synthesis trial. Synthesis trial parameters are determined in a Design of Experiments (DoE) screening design.
See file 2022-12-06 - Quantitative-Phase-Analysis-QPA-of-MXene-synthesis-product-PXRD-patterns.pdf for full dataset details.

Data from: Cryptic recessive lethality of a supergene controlling social organization in ants

Pierre Blacher, Ornela De Gasperin, Guglielmo Grasso, Solenn Sarton-Lohéac, Roxane Allemann & Michel Chapuisat
Supergenes are clusters of linked loci that control complex phenotypes, such as alternate forms of social organization in ants. Explaining the long-term maintenance of supergenes is challenging, particularly when the derived haplotype lacks homozygous lethality and causes gene drive. In the Alpine silver ant, Formica selysi, a large and ancient social supergene with two haplotypes, M and P, controls colony social organization. Single-queen colonies only contain MM females, while multi-queen colonies contain MP and PP...

Table 1. All proteins identified in acute and 3-months post-hospital discharge Nasosorption FX-i samples.

Sarah Harbach
Columns indicate whether proteins were identified in all datasets, or only within acute (A1), 3-months post-hospital discharge (R1) or healthy controls (H1). If proteins were absent within a disease group, this is indicated by ‘missing’.

Table 2. Up- and down-regulated proteins in acute COVID-19 Nasosorption FX-i samples compared to 3-months post-hospital discharge (recovery).

Sarah Harbach
Including all proteins with an adjusted p value ≤ 0.05.
