Global reference histograms of the IMS infrasound broadband detection lists

This data set builds upon the broadband detection lists of the International Monitoring System (IMS)’s infrasound stations. The infrasound data of these stations are regularly (re-)processed at the German National Data Centre at BGR (e.g., Ceranna et al., 2019; https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-75140-5_13) using the Progressive Multi-Channel Correlation (PMCC) array processing method (Cansi, 1995; https://doi.org/10.1029/95GL00468). We present here the Bedmap3 ice thickness, bed and surface elevation standardised CSV data points that are used to create the Bedmap3 gridding products in addition to the previous data releases. The data consists of 50 million points acquired by 17 different data providers in Antarctica. Continuous thermosalinograph oceanography along RV MARIA S. MERIAN cruise MSM97

Underway temperature and salinity data was collected along the cruise track with two autonomous measurement systems. Usually, the systems are changed after 12 hours. While temperature is taken at the water inlet in about 6.5 m depth, salinity is estimated within the interior measurement container from conductivity and interior temperature. Salinity was calibrated independently for both measurement containers (MCs). No correction was done for temperature. For details to all processing steps see Data Processing Report.

We present here Bedmap2 (2013), a suite of gridded products describing surface elevation, ice-thickness and the sea floor and subglacial bed elevation of the Antarctic south of 60deg S. We derived these products using data from a variety of sources, including many substantial surveys completed since the original Bedmap compilation (Bedmap1) in 2001.
