The Domain of the Riemann Zeta Function on the Complex Plane

Armando M. Evangelista
The Riemann zeta-function is one of the most studied complex function in mathematics. Riemann in his 1859 paper On the Number of Prime Numbers less than a Given Quantity [1] claimed that the analytic continuation of the zeta-function extends its domain over the entire complex plane except at
s = 1. But, as I’ve shown in my two papers: A Short Disproof of the Riemann Hypothesis [2] andRiemann’s Functional Equation is Not Valid and Its...

Disproof of Riemann's Functional Equation Using the Poisson Summation Formula

Armando M. Evangelista
Riemann and others have used the Poisson summation formula to prove Riemann’s functional equation. The opposite is actually true, the Poisson summation formula provides a refutation of Riemann’s functional equation. It is the purpose of this paper to disprove Riemann’s functional equation using the Poisson summation formula.

From coalition to commons: Plan S and the future of scholarly communication

Rob Johnson
The announcement of Plan S in September 2018 has triggered a wide-ranging debate over how best to accelerate the shift to open access. The Plan’s ten principles represent a call for the creation of an intellectual commons, to be brought into being through collective action by funders and managed through regulated market mechanisms. As it gathers both momentum and critics, the coalition must grapple with questions of equity, efficiency and sustainability. The work of Elinor...

Gravitational Catastrophe and Dark Matter

I have been working for a long time about basic laws of physics. During this time I noticed, that gravity does not work as Newtonian. Distance and gravitational force relation changes over distance. The attraction properties change for each point of free space, and have some limits. The attraction changes due to some values between 1/r and 1/r^2 even for the existent furthest distance. This work aims to analyze and discuss this phenomenon.

Multi-use of the sea: a wide array of opportunities from site-specific cases across Europe

Martina Bocci, Stephen Joseph Sangiuliano, Alessandro Sarretta, Joseph Onwona Ansong, Bruce Buchanan, Andronikos Kafas, Mario Caña-Varona, Vincent Onyango, Eva Papaioannou, Emiliano Ramieri, Angela Schultz-Zehden, Maximilian Felix Schupp, Vassiliki Vassilopoulou & Marta Vergílio
The concept of multi-use of the sea has increased popularity in the last decades with ocean space getting increasingly crowded due to the development of maritime economy. The concept of multi-use is based on the idea that competing claims for space can be a source of conflicts but may also lead to mutual benefits for the different users when smart combinations are sought. Despite increasing European-wide efforts, on-the-ground knowledge and practice on multi-use are still...

Riemann's Functional Equation is Not Valid and its Implication on the Riemann Hypothesis

Armando M. Evangelista
Riemann’s “functional” equation was formulated by Riemann that supposedly extended the domain of the Riemann zeta function from the right half-plane into the entire complex plane except at s = 1. It is also the foundation upon which the Riemann Hypothesis is based: that all the zeros of the zeta "function" are at s = ½ + bi. But the equation, as shall be shown here is not valid such that the Riemann Hypothesis crumbles...

Short Note on Unification of Field Equations and Probability

Is math in harmony with existence? Is it possible to calculate any property of existence over math? Is exact proof of something possible without pre-acceptance of some physical properties? This work is realized to analysis these arguments somehow as simple as possible over short cuts, and it came up with some compatible results finally. It seems that both free space and moving bodies in this space are dependent on the same rule as there is...

The Riemann Transform

Armando M. Evangelista
In his 1859 paper [1], Bernhard Riemann used an integral equation to develop an explicit formula for estimating the number of prime numbers less than a given quantity. It is the purpose of this present work to explore some of the properties of this equation.

Mesut Kavak
This work aims to bring a simple solution out to the Riemann Hypothesis over the Lagarias Transformation.

Translation Services: A Brief Study

Subhajit Panda
According to the Census of India of 2001, India has 122 major languages and 1599 other languages are spoken by the 1.38 billion population of India. According to the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, twenty-two (22) of them are considered as official languages; viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili and Dogri. Hence, Translation services are essential for various sectors....

A Short Disproof of the Riemann Hypothesis

Armando M. Evangelista
The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the most important unsolved problem in Mathematics: its validity will have have a great consequence on the precise calculation of the number of primes. Riemann developed an explicit formula relating the number of primes with the hypothesized non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Riemann hypothesis states that all the non-trivial zeros of the zeta function have real part equal to one-half on the critical strip. Despite many attempts...

Is Time Misconception of Transformations Possible?

Time is quite interesting phenomenon in physics, and it seems is relative; but what does it mean to be relative of time? What does to be fixed of light speed mean? Does to be fixed of light speed require observation at light speed? What if we can observe faster than light speed because of increased frame number? Is time effective for this imaginary effect or also time itself is dependent on another actual causative phenomenon?...
