NIRD Toolkit

The NIRD Toolkit offers a self-service portal in which our scientists may choose various tools and computational capacity needed for their research.

INSPIRE is a trusted community hub that helps researchers to share and find accurate scholarly information in high energy physics.

Secure and cost-effective cloud computing for processing sensitive data.

Crossref Metadata Plus

Metadata Plus gives you enhanced access to all supported Crossref APIs, guarantees service levels and support, and additional features such as snapshots and priority service/rate limits. To use Metadata Plus, an optional paid-for service, you do not need to be a Crossref member.

A website tool for predicting triploidy in larval fish spawns

Jill A Jenkins, Bogdan Chivoiu & Rassa O Dale
This is an online tool called Ploidy Predictor. Triploidy is the condition in which three chromosome sets occur in somatic cells. Triploidization is the most practical, economical, and effective method for mass production of sterile fishes. Some examples include triploid oysters Crassostrea spp., Grass Carp Ctenopharyngodon idella, and Black Carp Mylopharyngodon piceus that are commercially cultured for consumption, weed and snail control, respectively. Triploidization limits the potential for establishment of wild populations. However, treatments used...

SSHADE/DOCCD: Jena (AIU) Database of Optical Constants for Cosmic Dust

Harald Mutschke & Jürgen Weiprecht
Database of optical constants of solids with relevance to cosmic dust, created at AIU Jena 1992 - ..., based on spectroscopic measurements in the Astrophysical Laboratory of AIU Jena

SSHADE: \"Solid Spectroscopy Hosting Architecture of Databases and Expertise\"

Bernard Schmitt, Philippe Bollard, Damien Albert, Alexandre Garenne, Maria Gorbacheva, Lydie Bonal, Pierre Volcke & the SSHADE Partner's Consortium and
SSHADE is the database infrastructure and interface that contains and provides access to all partner's databases. It is also the central database containing all the common data on the fundamental species (atoms, molecules, chemical functions, chemical bonds), the fondamental phases (minerals, solids, liquids), the objects (meteorites, micrometeorites, IDPs), the planetary bodies, the international matters, and the publications. It will also contain a bandlist database (under development). SSHADE is a labeled database service (SO5) of INSU/Astronomie...

SSHADE/BYPASS: Bern icY Planetary Analogues Solid Spectroscopy

Antoine Pommerol & Olivier Poch
This database provides access to the data measured in the Laboratory for Outflow Studies of Sublimating Materials (LOSSy) of the University of Bern. In the laboratory, we are preparing and analyzing analogs of planetary or cometary surfaces composed of pure or mixed ices or dust-ice mixtures to study their optical properties and dynamic evolution under simulated conditions. The collected data can be used to predict photometric properties or to interpret observational data of icy-dust planetary...

The PID Forum

, &
The PID Forum is a global information and discussion platform about persistent identifiers (PIDs). The PID Forum aims to bring together the various communities working with PIDs in the research world. It’s a virtual place to share best practices, announce events, ask questions and have discussions about PIDs. The PID Forum was initiated by the FREYA project which is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 777523.

The Crossmark button gives readers quick and easy access to the current status of an item of content, including any corrections, retractions, or updates to that record. Research doesn’t stand still: even after publication, articles can be updated with supplementary data or corrections. It’s important to know if the content being cited has been updated, corrected, or retracted - and that’s the assurance that publishers can offer readers by using Crossmark. It’s a standardized button,...

High performance computing service of national importance.

CERN Open Data Portal

The CERN Open Data portal hosts more than two petabytes of collision, simulated and derived datasets, accompanied with configuration files, documentation, virtual machines and runnable analysis examples that were released into the public domain by the LHC and other particle physics related experiments.

DataCite Usage Reports API

The DataCite Usage Reports API allows repositories to deposit data usage metrics with DataCite that are made available via the DataCite REST and GraphQL APIs. These usage reports need to follow the COUNTER Code of Practice for Research Data, and the SUSHI protocol for reporting.

DataCite DOI Registration Service

In order to create new DOIs and assign them to your content, it is necessary to become a DataCite member or work with one of the current members. Through the Fabrica web interface or of the DataCite APIs (REST, MDS, or EZ API) you will be able to submit a DOI name, a metadata description following the DataCite Metadata Schema and an URL for the object described by DOI metadata. Once created, information about this...

This web tool allows users to upload their own data and easily create Principal Component Analysis (PCA) plots and heatmaps. Data can be uploaded as a file or by copy-pasteing it to the text box. Data format is shown under "Help" tab.

Crossref Content Registration

Content registration allows members to register and update metadata via machine or human interfaces. When you join Crossref as a member you are issued a DOI prefix. You combine this with a suffix of your choice to create a DOI, which becomes active once registered with Crossref. Content registration allows members to register a DOI and deposit or update its associated metadata, via machine or human interfaces.
