Bernard Schmitt, Philippe Bollard, Damien Albert, Alexandre Garenne, Maria Gorbacheva, Lydie Bonal, Pierre Volcke & the SSHADE Partner's Consortium and
SSHADE is the database infrastructure and interface that contains and provides access to all partner's databases. It is also the central database containing all the common data on the fundamental species (atoms, molecules, chemical functions, chemical bonds), the fondamental phases (minerals, solids, liquids), the objects (meteorites, micrometeorites, IDPs), the planetary bodies, the international matters, and the publications. It will also contain a bandlist database (under development). SSHADE is a labeled database service (SO5) of INSU/Astronomie...

SSHADE/BYPASS: Bern icY Planetary Analogues Solid Spectroscopy

Antoine Pommerol & Olivier Poch
This database provides access to the data measured in the Laboratory for Outflow Studies of Sublimating Materials (LOSSy) of the University of Bern. In the laboratory, we are preparing and analyzing analogs of planetary or cometary surfaces composed of pure or mixed ices or dust-ice mixtures to study their optical properties and dynamic evolution under simulated conditions. The collected data can be used to predict photometric properties or to interpret observational data of icy-dust planetary...

A website tool for predicting triploidy in larval fish spawns

Jill A Jenkins, Bogdan Chivoiu & Rassa O Dale
This is an online tool called Ploidy Predictor. Triploidy is the condition in which three chromosome sets occur in somatic cells. Triploidization is the most practical, economical, and effective method for mass production of sterile fishes. Some examples include triploid oysters Crassostrea spp., Grass Carp Ctenopharyngodon idella, and Black Carp Mylopharyngodon piceus that are commercially cultured for consumption, weed and snail control, respectively. Triploidization limits the potential for establishment of wild populations. However, treatments used...

SSHADE/REFL_SLAB: Reflectance Spectroscopy Laboratory

Cristian Carli
REFL_SLAB database consists of bi-directional reflectance spectra acquired with standard geometry (i = 30°, e = 0°) in the visible and near infrared (0.35-4.2 µm). It will contain spectra of rock forming minerals and their mixtures, like plagioclase and mafic minerals, salts and their hydrates, as well as igneous rocks and igneous glassy with variable compositions. Spectra will be associated with mineral/bulk chemistry.

SSHADE/CSS: Cold Surface Spectroscopy Facility database

Bernard Schmitt, Pierre Beck & Olivier Brissaud
The Cold Surfaces Spectroscopy Facility at Institut de Planétologie et Astrophysique de Grenoble (IPAG) Grenoble, France, is a facility of the Trans-National Access Distributed Planetary Simulation Facility activity (TA2 - DPSF) of the Europlanet 2020-RI program. Its "CSS database" provides access to the spectral data recorded by various groups during visits within the Trans-National Access program, and put on-line one year after their measurements.

Advancing Research Computing (ARC)

The Advancing Research Computing (ARC) service is focused on supporting, training and collaborating with the research community to drive innovation, nurture research talent and to help our researchers excel. ARC manages access to a range of state-of-the-art High Performance Computing (HPC) systems and provides consultancy and support through Research Software Engineers (RSEs). Through training courses, workshops and networking events we are helping develop a vibrant and engaging computational research community.

NED source nomenclature

Thousands of acronyms are used in NED. This service provides the list of acronyms and their definitions and further information links.

NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED)

NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED) is a comprehensive database of multiwavelength data for extragalactic objects, providing a systematic, ongoing fusion of information integrated from hundreds of large sky surveys and hundreds of thousands of research publications. The contents and services span the entire observed spectrum from gamma rays through radio frequencies. As new observations are published, they are cross-identified or statistically associated with previous data and integrated into a unified database to simplify queries and retrieval.

Exoplanet Follow-up Observing Program - K2

The Exoplanet Follow-up Observing Program (ExoFOP) website is designed to optimize resources and facilitate collaboration in follow-up studies of exoplanet candidates. ExoFOP-K2 serves as a repository for community-gathered follow-up data on K2 planet candidates by allowing upload and display of data and derived astrophysical parameters. This dataset or service is made available by the NASA Exoplanet Science Institute at IPAC, which is operated by the California Institute of Technology under contract with the National Aeronautics...

SSHADE/LSD: Layered Silicates Database

Arkadiusz Derkowski, Artur Kuligiewicz, Małgorzata Lempart, Vassilis Gionis & Georgios Chryssikos
Layered Silicates Database is managed by Clay Minerals Laboratory of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CML, IGS PAS). The aim of LSD is to present spectra of layered silicates amd other related materials, with emphasis of minerals that are suspected to be present on Mars. Among others, LSD contains: (1) Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) Mid Infrared spectra of smectites in H2O and D2O wet states under various relative humidities;...

SSHADE/PaSSTEL: PlanetAry Surface Spectroscopy Toulouse Experimental Laboratory

Patrick Pinet & Yves Daydou
PaSSTEL database is aimed at characterizing the optical response of geological targets ranging from controlled powders to complex slab rock samples. It mainly consists of visible-near infrared bidirectional reflectance measurements performed on natural mineral solid solution samples, involving pyroxene and/or olivine minerals, with controlled grain size ranging from 45 µm to 2 mm, with six defined granulometric classes. Samples are derived from natural volcanic products with diverse contents of rock fragments, monocrystals and glass, various...
