Generalized Poisson integer-valued autoregressive processes with structural changes
Chenhui Zhang, Dehui Wang, Kai Yang, Han Li & Xiaohong Wang
In this paper, we introduce a new first-order generalized Poisson integer-valued autoregressive process, for modeling integer-valued time series exhibiting a piecewise structure and overdispersion. Basic probabilistic and statistical properties of this model are discussed. Conditional least squares and conditional maximum likelihood estimators are derived. The asymptotic properties of the estimators are established. Moreover, two special cases of the process are discussed. Finally, some numerical results of the estimates and a real data example are presented.

Down-regulation of microRNA-125b-2-3p is a risk factor for a poor prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
He-Qing Huang, Gang Chen, Dan-Dan Xiong, Ze-Feng Lai, Li-Min Liu, Ye-Ying Fang, Jin-Hai Shen, Xiang-Yu Gan, Liu-Feng Liao & Yi-Wu Dang
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a leading cause of mortality in cancer patients, but the association between miR-125b-2-3p and the onset and prognosis of HCC has not been reported in previous studies; thus, the clinicopathological implications of miR-125b-2-3p in HCC require elaboration. To examine the expression of miR-125b-2-3p in HCC, both in-house RT-qPCR and public datasets were used to calculate the standard mean difference (SMD) and the summary receiver operating characteristic (sROC). MiR-125b-2-3p was markedly lower...
Identification and validation of potential mRNA- microRNA- long-noncoding RNA (mRNA-miRNA-lncRNA) prognostic signature for cervical cancer
Jie Wang & Chen Zhang
Cervical cancer is one of the most common causes of cancer deaths in women due to poor prognosis and high mortality rates. A novel mRNA-miRNA-lncRNA signature linked to prognosis of cervical cancer is needed to help clinicians judge the prognosis of individual patients more accurately. On the basis of GEO datasets, a total of 161 upregulated and 242 downregulated DE-mRNAs were identified firstly. Among them, eight potential biomarkers were found to have prognostic values with...
The feasibility of one-stage flexible ureteroscopy lithotripsy in solitary kidney patients with 1–3 cm renal stones and risk factors of renal function changes
Yang Pan, Han Chen, Hualin Chen, Xiaoxiang Jin, Yunxiao Zhu & Gang Chen
To compare perioperative outcomes and long-term renal function changes between prior stenting (PS) and not prior stenting (NPS) before flexible ureteroscopy lithotripsy (f-URS) for solitary kidney patients. Solitary kidney patients with 10–30 mm renal stones were enrolled in this historical control study. Perioperative parameters and complications were compared. Stone-free was defined as the absence of any residual stones on a CT scan. Renal function changes were evaluated by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and adjusted...
Cessation of collisional tectonism and rapid crustal uplift recorded by 430–420 Ma igneous rocks in the South Kunlun belt, northwest China
Jing Chen, Bing-Zhang Wang, Fu-Cheng Yu, Jie Han & Wu-Fu Li
The Wanbaogou granitic plutons are exposed along with coeval volcanic rocks, and provide an opportunity to investigate Silurian tectonism in the South Kunlun belt, northwest China. This study presents new whole-rock geochemical, and zircon U–Pb geochronological and Lu–Hf isotope data for Silurian intrusive rocks of the Wanbaogou area. We analysed four samples: a porphyritic monzogranite and dioritic dike from the Wanbaogou pluton and a granodiorite and monzogranite from the Wudaogou pluton. Zircon U–Pb dating yielded...
Topically applied liposome-in-hydrogels for systematically targeted tumor photothermal therapy
Gang Chen, Aftab Ullah, Gang Xu, Zhou Xu, Fei Wang, Tianqing Liu, Yi Su, Tangjie Zhang & Kaikai Wang
Transdermal drug delivery for local or systemic therapy provides a potential anticancer modality with a high patient compliance. However, the drug delivery efficiency across the skin is highly challenging due to the physiological barriers, which limit the desired therapeutic effects. In this study, we prepared liposome-in-hydrogels containing a tumor targeting photosensitizer IR780 (IR780/lipo/gels) for tumor photothermal therapy (PTT). The formulation effectively delivered IR780 to subcutaneous tumor and deep metastatic sites, while the hydrogels were applied...
