Der Beitrag fasst die Ergebnisse eines von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) im Rahmen des SPP 1630 von 2012 bis 2018 geförderten Projekts zusammen. Während der Feldkampagnen wurden archäologische, baugeschichtliche, geoarchäologische und geophysikalische Untersuchungen durchgeführt.
